Beauty is standing all around us,
Beauty is in the power of a sunset,
Beauty is in the sparkle of the stars and the shimmer of the moon.
Beauty is in the waving of the trees and the falling of the leaves.
Beauty is in the apples dropping to the ground.
Beauty is in the baby laughing while the mother makes funny faces.
Beauty is in the changing of the leaves.
Beauty is in the holding of hands between two people.
Beauty is in the people standing on the sidewalk.
and beauty is in the world around us.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.


Tomorrow is a new day.
A new day for new beginnings.
Tomorrow will be better than yesterday.
Tomorrow will bring new things to smile about.
Tomorrow will be better.

City Eclogue

The poem that really caught my eye was the sit in what city we are in. Most of the time we are so busy and wrapped up in other things of daily life that we forget to look around at what is before us. We are so caught up in daily life that we forget what beauty is in the city that we live in. The beauty in the parks and the beauty in the people that make the community.

If we take a second or a minute of our fay to reflect and look at what is around us maybe we could get a better feel for what our community is about. Some days you just have to force yourself to stop and smell the flowers. Some days you just have to force yourself to stop and talk to strangers.

If we ll took the time to look at our community and what it has to offer us, This world would be so much better and people would love where they live. So my question for you is what is in your city that you do not know about? Is it the park down the road that has a place where you can study that is quiet or is it the ice cream place where you can gather with your friends. Either way we need to take the time to explore our surroundings.

Lamont and cameron

I feel as though bother writers are trying to get the point across that writing can be fun if you make it fun for yourself. If you go in with a bad attitude about writing you are going to hate it from the beginning and never want to write a thing in your life. Where as if you go in with a positive attitude you may actually like to write and may want to pursue writing. I feel like Cameron`s approach is more of and informational guide on how to write as to where Lamont is more about is more of a way to show you how you can write.
